01 Guest Info

What to expect.

A quick orientation so you show up ready for Southeast Alaska.

Getting Here

Fly into Sitka on Alaska Airlines. Weather delays happen, so we suggest arriving the day before your trip. If you overnight in town, the Westmark Hotel offers a free shuttle.

Licenses & Tags

Alaska fishing and hunting licenses and tags are the guest's responsibility, purchased from the Alaska Department of Fish & Game. Non-resident hunting license is $160; deer tags are $300 each. Buy online or at Orion's Sporting Goods in Sitka.

Aboard the Boat

All meals are cooked aboard, and Starlink keeps you as connected as you want to be. Rods, reels, tackle, bait, crab and shrimp pots, kayaks, and a skiff are all provided.

02 FAQ

Common questions.

Not seeing your question? Call the boat — we'd rather talk it through.

Is this a private, whole-boat booking?

Yes. Every trip is booked as the whole boat for your party alone. We do not run mixed groups, and we never combine hunting and fishing parties.

Do I need an Alaska hunting or fishing license?

Yes — if you're hunting or fishing you'll need the appropriate Alaska license and tags. Required licenses and tags should be purchased from the Alaska Department of Fish & Game and are entirely your responsibility. You can buy online or at Orion's Sporting Goods in Sitka.

What should I pack? (hunters)

Our recommended hunter gear list includes: Dramamine, your rifle with ~40 rounds, quality rain gear, wool or synthetic base layers, 4–5 pairs of socks, synthetic pants, two pairs of waterproof gloves, a fleece shirt, neck gaiter, sunglasses, a multitool, a waterproof hat, Gore-Tex boots, a puff jacket, a water bottle, an internal-frame backpack (5,900+ cu in), 10x42 binoculars, a headlamp with spare batteries, boat shoes, game bags, a camera, toiletries, trekking poles, dry bags, and packable waders.

Any travel recommendations?

Fly into Sitka via Alaska Airlines and consider arriving the day prior, since weather delays are common. If you'd like to overnight in town, we suggest the Westmark Hotel — they offer a free shuttle.

Is there internet and cell reception on board?

We offer Starlink connectivity to our guests on board, so you can be as connected as you'd like to be during your trip.
